This was the first defeat for the Guard, and it did not sit well at all. They entered the match down a man, and it seemed to go down hill from there. No love from Nuffle and a pocketed ref in the first half left Guard Duty scrambling to keep up.

Of note was the play of the rookie Jolly Green. Typical rookie. He played a good match, and it looked as if his skills were increasing, then he tried to do too much. Rushing down the field, he tripped a carefully placed booby trap. At least we think there must have been something there. How else can you explain an elf tripping and dying?
