“Crossing the pitch, Kondor met Coach Nick at midfield and complimented him on a well coached match. This was the second match between the two coaches, and now that score was evened at one apiece.

Kondor returned to the locker room and reflected upon the match. He had cringed every time a mummy hit one of his players. Turned out there was good reason to cringe as the mummies put three guardsmen on the bench.

The first half was full of typical Khemri play. Great at knocking things down, yet aweful at handling the ball. Both Guard touchdowns were the result of a fumble or a dropped throw.

The second half was great comedy. It started with 8 elves doing there best to avoid 4 mummies and a mess of bones. This was followed by the Guardsman rookie lineman having some fun with his counter rookie skeleton. The crowd got a kick out of him tossing the skull into the stadium where it bounced around and ended up as a souvineer for some lucky fan. But the topper was a little foolish razzle dazzle by the Guard that became a turn over in the endzone. This lead to the opponent's TD. Note to self, always take the safe points if there is any doubt.
