“It was Coach Nathaniel's first match against a legendary team. The Nandorins recieved the ball first and scored easily behind their rookie Talolia. There was not much DK could do but watch. On their reception, the Wishmaster, called for a running ground and pound strategy knowing they could not get into a shootout with a team this good. Slowly but steadily they hammered the ball and the High Elven line knocking out at least a handful Elves on the way to the goal line. DK scored with no time left in the first half.
The second half began and DK recieved the ball. Once again they pounded the Nandorins defensive line. There was a near scare as, Team Captain, Emeyin was picked up and slammed into the ground by the buff High Elf, Wylolden. For an enternity, Emeyin, lay motionless as Coach Nathaniel immediately sent out the medics. A sigh of relief was heard in the DK camp as the apothecary was successful and Emeyin was back up on his feet the next turn. This half saw DK employ the stalling tactic and held the ball until the second to last turn giving the High Elves a one turn shot for a tie. The fans became restless as they are spoiled into high scoring affairs when they watch DK.
The one turn touchdown almost worked but was denied by Cyric as he took a dive to prevent him being pushed around. DK escaped with an ugly win, but they can't complain. A win is a win even if you gotta hide all the mirrors for awhile.
