“Kondor crossed the pitch to congratulate Darkhood on the win, and pay his respects to Mordrian Moonhowl. Darkhood was understandably filled with mixed emotions. He shrugged and said "That's Blood Bowl."

As Kondor returned to the locker room, his thoughts were of Moonhowl. At least he went out on the pitch rather than being all niggled up and forced into retirement. Granted, going out on a gang foul is nasty, but Moonhowl had been a bit reckless too. He must have felt indestructible today. He charged headlong into the dark elf backfield on his own looking to get open for the quick TD at the start of the game. He as blitzed and knocked to the ground, and before he could react, Single Shot obeyed orders and stomped on his head. One Foul, one kill. Single Shot was promptly ejected.

Yet even without their star werewolf, the necro team went wild. They managed to clear the field of all save four elves by the end of the match. The elven gear just did not hold up today. Once they were down several elves, they could barely stay on their feet, and the necros showed some backbone moving down the field for the only score of the match.
