“It wasn’t exactly the best blood bowl weather, but the snow didn’t seem to bother any of the teams. OWMC stood face to face with Kirks Average and Dead. Average and Dead won the toss and chose to receive the kick-off. Even though OWMC managed to take one of Average and Dead mummies out of play, they couldn’t hold the line in the wide-zone, and seconds before the end of first-half the ghoul Symen ran free and scored. Coach Paustian soon discovered this wasn’t going to be an easy match.
In second half OWMC received and started their offence. Their where planning a quick Touchdown, which would give them the time they needed to recapture the ball for a nice 2-1 victory. OWMC offence went well. Iomi Stoneanvil went straight for the End zone injuring every Zombie and Ghoul in the way. Even though the Zombies had regenerated and ready for action before a dwarf could say ‘More beer please’ it still gave OWMC the advantage they needed, and half way into second half they scored.
The rest of second half was pure block war as OWMC managed to lock down Average and Deads cage midfield. Even though OWMC original plan had failed, their where still satisfied with their performance and the result.
