A bloody finals where the ref took the morning off and both sides clashed hard. First turn, the Brothers removed 2 elves. In response, 2 chaos were removed. On turn 2, 2 more elves were removed, the apothecary was used on adultery (was only a BH). However, this ended up wise as Adultery proceeded to inflict 4 CAS against the chaos throughout the rest of the first half and into the second half.
Both sides were low on players when a chaos beastman re-rolled a push result to a double skull on T7. The Elves stole the ball away and just needed a pickup to waltz into the endzone, but double 1 on the pickup...the half ended 0-0, but it seemed that luck was with the elves - the fearsome Whipgnash Taintdung stayed out (Claw/RSC/PO) as did one of his brothers. With a two-man advantage and receiving to start the second half, the dark elves wasted no time removing more chaos from the field and had no desire to score and allow more of the claws back on the field...so stalling the whole half out, on T16, walked in for the 1-0 win.
A good game, early it looked like the choas would clear the pitch, but then the dark elf armor started to hold. Two dead players, a 3 skill witch elf and an AG 6 dodger lineman are a small price to pay for VICTORY!
Good game!”
