“I should have been murdered this game!

From the off, Random POW'd me half to death, KO'ing my players left right + centre. Then I took the risky move to apoth a 3SPP Blitzer on a MNG (no perm). APOTH FAILED! Serves me right, it was a rookie move really. So now I'm down 3-4 players, no apoth and 1-0 down. My KO's are reluctant to climb off the bench, and I'm in big trouble. Luckily I was able to equalise and hold back the lizards from scoring for the remainder of the half. I even managed to make the score 2-1 against the run of play! My ST4 thrower was BH'd on T7, and at this point I would have been happy to escape with no more perms, sod the score!
I couldn't get my DP off due to my lack of players, and even when I got the ref in the 2nd half it was useless, my DP KO'd right at the start of the 2nd! I didn't even throw a foul in the game! VERY RARE for me!

Then Random made more than 1 rookie mistake that literally handed me the win from nowhere (especiallt T4-5). All Random had to do was move his skink out of range BEFORE making a block and I was done for. Facing a full strength lizard squad with 5 players remaining at 2-2 (3 turns remaining) would have been curtains.
So my thanks to Random for totally ballsing up towards the end of the 2nd half and gifting me the win. My CR was in real danger of taking a nosedive thanks to getting nuffled throughout the game. ”
