When I saw those cursed Dark Elves hire Horkon and a wizard I knew I was in for a hard game... and I was right... so I countered with Hthark.
Xenon's kick off rolls were rather favourable to him too, with a Blitz! and Get the ref and others.
The wizard was used early to take down the ball carrying BC and 2 nearby dwarves... and it was 0-1. However the dwarves fought back to equalise before half time and stopped any chance of a quick reply.
2nd half Horkon was still on the pitch, and the get the ref, combined with the dagger soon put an end to CD hopes of a draw, although an Xenon gave himself an un-needed scare when he 1'd a pass when he should have scored. However, despite the BC putting the elf down and picking up the ball, he couldn't get far enough away to prevent the DE's getting back quickly and scoring.
With 2 players out, a FF decrease, cash spent on a star, and still unable to skill the 50spp BC, this was a frustrating match... but fun to play.
Good luck Xenon, although I don't think you need it! :p”
