“It was an intense match through and through. Heart's Blood recieved the ball and scored midway through the first half despite Judas's valiant efforts at dislodging the ball. Crimson Eclipse quickly struck back with their own offensive drive behind Draeke's touchdown run. They had a chance to go up by one before the half after Linken dived and tackled an HB Blitzer ending their turn prematurely. However, Malikith failed to drop the ballcarrier and they went into the half in a draw.

This time CE was recieving and once again they repeated their offensive success. Krono thought he heard Coach Nathaniel call for him to stall but it was just a CE fan caught up in the game. When a reporter asked the Coach about this later, he replied, "I dislike stalling and I think it's a coward's way out. I have faith in my D and my teams always go for the jugular." This is not always true however, we have seen him stall before but it is rare that he employs such tactics.

With CE's last TD in the books this left plenty of time for HB to mount a game tying drive. Huriel lobbed a pass to one of his players but it bounced off the intended player's hands and landed in his teammates. Judas saw this and made a spectacular leaping scissor kick that badly hurt the HB Blitzer and causing a fumble. CE grabbed the ball and tried to cage up to run the time out and send Malikith out on a slant. The play was broken up as Malikith failed to dodge away. Linken then sidestepped away from a last attempt HB blitz sealing the win for his team.
