Although Rottenham prefer to think of Larsonal as their equals, the rivalry between these two teams has always been strong. The first meeting between these teams under the OBBA banner came today in a League Cup game. Even before the match had started the temperature of the fans was at boiling point and many skirmishes between rival fans occured in and around Wight Hag Lane.
The pressure lay firmly on Coach BlacknWhiteDog as his vast experience coupled with the expectation of the fans meant only a win would do. The West Ham fans on the other hand just wanted to see the 'Spurs getting stuffed!

Rottenham Hotspurs lost the toss but the Hammers elected to kick, giving Spurs the ball. The first half was a quiet and cagey afair with most of the action taking place around the right wing of midfield. Gradually Spurs edged their way towards the endzone with Ledley King seemingly stuck to the ball. With the last few minutes of the first half Spurs were in touching distance of the endzone but they seemed more interested in beating the Hammers physically and time slipped away and the half ended scoreless.

The Hammers spent the firts part of the 2nd half trying to pick the ball up and this lead to it being exposed to the Spurs players. Things began to look up for Spurs as they began to dish out KO's to the Hammers but the hero of the first half, Ledley King became the villain as he tried to pick up the ball. He lost control and it bounced favourably for the Hammers. West Ham Blitzer Paolo Decapitate was able to capitalize picking it up and heading downfield. After some last ditch defending Paolo's pace took him out of range of the defenders and into the endzone for the only score of the game.

The West Ham fans went crazy chanting "You're not singing anymore!" followed by a barage of rocks and misiles at the Spurs fans and another chant of "You're not breathing anymore!" All in all a good day for the Hammers fans and their Coach Alan Curb-Bashey
