For the early part of the first half, it looked like it could be anyone's game. The ball changed hands several times as both teams struggled to break through the other's lines. It wasn't long, however, before the High Elves began to take a pounding. There were no permanent injuries, but the High Elf Players were K.O.'d many times throughout the game.
With too few players left to make a solid defence on the High Elf team, The Outlaws suppressed their more regal cousins attempts to defend, and managed to run up the field time and again.
