#1 Vis II – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#1 Vis II – Smashed Knee (NI)
#2 Dominus Deus III – Smashed Hip (-MA)
Game 53

Schola won the toss and chose to receive, getting off to a great start. The second block of the game sent a line-orc to the KO box. The end of the turn not so great, with rookie beast Auris II KO'ing himself going for it. Schola's second turn things seemed to start going really bad, with Claw beast Pugna rolling double skulls twice on the first block of the turn! We Fink quickly followed this up with a gang foul on Campitor (one of two tacklers) that the ref spotted. Coach Laviak argued the call and was successful! which turned out to be a pivotal point of the match. The rest of the half was the standard Chaos drive up the pitch, steadily removing players off the pitch. The last turn of the half though, the Orks came back with a vengeance, KO'ing a warrior and seriously injuring the Ogre Vis II with a niggle.

The second half started in favor of the Orks, with the Chaos KO box failing to empty, leaving a man up advantage to the amazons. Rapidly placing another three players in the Chaos KO box left the amazons up 4 players. An easy score the the Orks and yet again the Chaos box didn't get emptied, the Orks being 1 up again. Rapidly removing players from the pitch again, the indomitable Orks forced a desperate move from Schola with a passing play. The ball was neatly caught, but the blitz to clear the player from the receiver failed. We Fink Wer Orks easily moved the ball into the endzone for a 2-1 score.

Twahnlow Votes
3 - #2 Face Maula - Seven fouls without the ref spotting her.... 3 CAS and 3 KO, single handedly decimated the Chaos side to a manageable player count
2 - #9 Spine Klubba - Caused the double double skulls that broke the Chaos charge in the first half
1 - #13 Hand Bitah - Withstood the 2d block that would have won the game for Schola and tripped up the ball carrier on the same turn

SWL Season XXV - Snakefield Memorial Conference League - Round 6

The chaos started with a slow offensive drive. Things were looking pretty good for a while, but the girls were caught flat-footed by a sudden switch from one wing to the other, and Dominius Quod II took in a touchdown in turn 8.

Half time score: 0-1

Deciding that we wanted a win, the girls made a lightning fast offense (for them at least), and with a massive numerical advantage were able to take in a touchdown in turn 2. Most of the chaos returned to the pitch, but still with a slight numerical advantage, the girls were able to pressure the ball carrier into a passing play. Fortunately for us, the play failed, and the ball was ours. With barely enough time to spare, Head Splitta too the ball in for a touchdown in turn 16.

Full time score: 2-1

3 pts - #4 Dominus Quod II
Ball carrier extraordinaire! Oh, and he got a handy cas in there somewhere.

2 pts - #11 Campitor
Took out the apoth in turn 1. Twas all in preparation for a turn-16 kill. (I guess he wanted revenge for all that fouling!)

1 pt - #5 Dominus Mortifer II
A passing play from Chaos? Now we've seen everything - if only Borak knew what to do with the ball once he had it in his hands.
