“An absolute classic here sportsfans- not an elagant game, but a brutal one.

Early doors the Norsemen got a blitz allowing them to storm forward and really pin the skellies in their own half for a 0-0 score at the break with plenty of knock outs to boot. The real highlights were the 3 fatalities- my favourite lineman (Eirik the Red) took a big haymaker from a Mummy,giving him a mid air coronry- on rushed the paramedics with the difibrilator- straight to 360, and he was back in the game.

Next came an inocuous looking block on a Mummy (Rameses) by K'plaa who had been smoking a nasty looking dogend before kick off.Due to the HSE policy brought in to this seasons league the ref had him extinguish it (second hand smoke-its a killer) but maybe it wasn't quite out as Rameses went up in smoke.Due to being undead the Scourge don't bring water to a game and mysteriously all the OrcaCola and juice bottles of the Horde went suddenly missing.This buoyed the Horde and got the crowd going wild only for seconds later did the teams hairdresser and chief ball chukker Herrena the Henna Haired Harridon to bite the dust.A minor arguement with a skellie got out of hand as Herrena had been showing him some lovely wigs and other hair pieces. He took umbrage with the suggestion that bald isn't beautiful and promptly ended her involvement in the sport and her life.

The second half saw the Horde sachay down the right flank only to lose the ball right in the endzone with a Blitz-Ra stood menacingly over it.Surrounding the opponent with 3 players it looked too easy and a certain score.Piling a blitz in with Weasel he got push /skull using a reroll to get....well...dead.
"Talk to the metacarpels byatch" was the whisper from the undead section of the crowd as the weasel was carried away.Suddenly the ball was pinged into the crowd only to be grabbed by a Horde fan who threw it over the skellies and back into the endzone.Up jumped The Darklord who dived on the ball to score!

The last drive was very tense as the undead, opposed by only a handful of brave lads, caged forwards assuredly and undeniably towards the endzone and a draw.Hurling themselves at this unassailable behemoth the suicidal barbarians really earned their wages.

An unlucky blitz ended the game right at the edge of the endzone in the Scourges very last turn and as the Sun went down over a heavily bloodslicked pitch the crowd could go home happy in the knowledge that they had had their monies worth this week.”
