“Hi there Blood Bowl fans. After setting the tournament alight with their stunning debut victory the Kimodo Politicos had their hands burned last night. In front of a huge crowd of 52,000 screaming fans they looked every inch the team playing only it's second ever competitive match. How unlucky then that they should come up against the pre-tournament favourites playing at the top of their games.

A record score of 6 - 1 is about a fair reflection of the game. The Politicos couldn't keep hold of the ball. They had no defence against the leaping brilliance of Belladonna and Maradonna. Belladonna it was who opened the scoring. In the first turn having kicked to the Politicos Bella D leapt over the line of scrimage, pummelled the hapless skink, picked up the resultant loose ball and headed off for a stella touchdown.

Narcissus at quarter back was faultless and Meleagris showed the strength in depth of the team with an arrow like pass to set up another stunning score.

There was plenty for the purist with a total of 5 casualties, the only blight for the Rangers being the niggling injury that the mercurial Dionea picked up which will mean he misses the next match.
