“Kondor met Coach Fangbanger at midfield. These two coaches had a friendly rivalry between them with several of their teams playing against one antoher. Kondor's squads had prevailed in the last couple of matches, but Kondor knew to be warry of the skilled opponent.

In this particular match up, the Norse squad had prevailed by utilizing a combination of set plays. The first was a drive down the southern sideline. This approach had been beaten into Kondor's thick skull by loosing to coach Emeyin on several occasions. Today, it was fairly well employed.

Later, the game was secured by some tenacious defense. Finding a hole in Fangbanger's lines was not a simple task, but once the ball was free, the scramble ended up going Kondor's way.
