“For a long time this was a close game and it looked like Mezze Pippe would take home the win. Packers lost one of their ogres in the very first turn. The entire first half the Packers was pushed backwards toward their own endzone. However some good blocks and right timed tackles made the clock run out and Mezze Pippe was unable to score the Touchdown.
In the second half the ball was on Packer hand the entire time. 4 gobos sprinted down the side and took up a position near the end zone. At this moment Mezze Pippe's coach made a fatal mistake, and choose not to send his trolls after them, instead keeping them at the center of the field, where the second Packer ogre remained. However the 4 gobos deep in Mezze Pippe territory had no problem of desposing the Snotlings that came pouring from all sides. They remained at the position until the final 10 seconds of the game where Charlie Brown took a single step across the goalline, ensuring the win.
In the last seconds of the game, Mezze Pippe tried a desperate attemp at a snotling toss and run, but they fumbll'ed (heh get it) the football.
This time tactics prevailed over sheer numbers. There will be celebrating in the Black Crag tonight.”
