“A frustrating match to play for the Deepwood Furies with two casualties from falling over, including a death, as the clumsy Tathar landed head first on a hidden rock. A tragic loss for a promising young player in his first ranked bloodbowl match and our commiserations go to his family in Deepwoord. Tempers rose in the coaching box as the match wore on, with further errors and apparent bad luck. Yet Galain and Adoamros managed to score a touchdown each with some good passing moves from the rookie team.

In retrospect coach HBarca had to admit that luck played very little part in the loss, with Freyja's Harriers the deserving winners. The team have had very little time in the training park together and no specialist players leaving our fate in the lap of gods so to speak. Black Oak blew a chance to go into the lead at half-time with a clumsy block, but we were very fortunate to have secured the ball with a lucky blitzing of Eioffa into the stands.”
