I could've done a better job protecting the ball 1st half. Opp blitzed the ball, recovered it, and ran it back beyond reach. But he decided to stall, so I bashed and fouled his team pretty good - I think it was up to 5 CAS by halftime.
Behind 1-0, with him receiving 2nd half, I was expecting a draw at best. But he left the ball open to a 2d blitz, I got the ball and ran it back. He blew a few rolls (I think he was out of rerolls) and I luckily scored with a few turns to go. I continued to hammer his team with Mummy bashing and DP fouls.
He was outnumbered on the next kickoff. He tried to GFI to get the ball with his AG4 Chaos Warrior and missed it (not sure if this was the right play). This left the ball open and I ran it back. He missed a 3+ dodge which would have given him a 2d blitz on the ball.
Overall, I think the decisive point was his decision to stall until the final turn of the first half. That allowed me to foul his team at leisure and build up a decisive numerical advantage.
His TD was actually the first one anyone has scored against the Deadheads... they're definitely running hot!”
