“In a monstrously bashy match up, the Orcs of Russo and randompuppet's Chaos fought tooth and nail (or is that Claw and Horn?)
The experience of the solid Orc line-up was critical with the Guard and Dirty Player spread liberally throughout the team.
The inexperienced Troll though was a liability constanly burning up the Chaos team Blitz-actions with his Really Stupid skill.
In the first half the Chaos started off with the ball but became bogged down in a mele in the middle of the park. Graduall the Orcs worked their way to the ball using the Guard skills and managed to work it free into Texan's hands. Texan then ran the TD home.
In the second half the Orcs started with the ball but with a shortage of players looked a bit shaky at first with the thrower hanging back with the ball whilst the Orc Blitzers roamed upfield trying to spread the defense. Fortunately the Chaos side all went for Texan and therefore left the other side of the field open and Purplegoo was able to score the second TD.
From the restart the Chaos again attacked but lost the ball and the Orcs closed teh game down on the LOS.
Well played mate, a couple of tips if I may.
Only Blitz with your Troll if it is the absolutlely last possible option. They are a liability and try to use it as a large roadblock more than a blitzer.
Secondly you have a tendancy to over commit at times and I think that allows other coaches to work the ball away from you as you have no cover.
I am only saying this as I have learnt these lessons the hard way too over the past 1200+ games :D
