Ronnie only had 40k from his last game, whereas I had 70k in the bank... neither of us had an apoth... I had a choice.... play safe and get an apoth, or death'n'glory... obviously I took the latter!... and a small green chainsaw wielding maniac entered the fray!
Fortunately we received the kick off and made early in roads past the norse armour sending 2 players out very early. With a bad kick giving the ball to Roger Joslyn, and the chainsaw starting up first time we set about trying to control the game through numbers. 1-0
2nd half the norse fought back, with 2 RIPS... but the chaos team got one back through the death of John Finnigan the norse thrower. However, they couldnt break through the chaos defence... mainly through some rubbish dice, and the game remained 1-0 to the Watford Khornets who slaughtered a small shrubbery in gratitude to the gods.
Thanks for the game Ronnie... was messy with both sides effectively losing 120k each.”
