Blood and bones! The pitch was filled with both today. We lost a dirty zombie, a wight and retired a ghoul. However, we also niggled into retirement a MB dwarf, killed a hobgoblin, perm injured a bull and missing on another dwarf for good measure. The other bull would be dead if not for the apothecary as well. Overall, it was a wacky, wacky game. We should have scored in the first half, but then suddenly we feel apart and a long bomb to a dwarf with no RR sealed our doom. Down 1-0, we fought back and scored in the second half, but then the time ran down with both sides tripping and splattering themselves all over the field instead of mounting a serious scoring chance. Our second failure to win underscores our poor balance now that both our star wights have been killed. This draw lowers our record to 8-1-1 in the stomp so far.”
