“Gobbos in Open, is my opponent insane? Well judging by the result…NO. What a cool game. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, time after time, people playing stunty teams have a different perspective on Blood Bowl. A few fouls were exchanged with glee; I even took his troll out… only a KO though … bah.

If the weather girls were present they might have said “Its raining gobos, halleluiah”. I felt sorry for the trolls and expressed my disappointment that they didn’t get a good meal by eating the little green sods.

It was close till turn 5 second half when they had the ball and were creating a cage, to what I thought was an attempt to kill off the game. Sportsmanship prevailed though as at 3-2 the troll picked up and gobbo and…. Nearly ate him! With the ball midway in their half it was an almighty scramble for the ball. No rerolls meant my lizards couldn’t pick up the ball and the final turn saw an excellent gobbo throw for his fourth.

Its rare you get people who would rather win gloriously that play the percentages and go for a stale 1-0, hiding behind trolls or beasts. Bravo I say, but yes, if your troll goes down he will get a beating of a lifetime.
