Starting off the second season of the Dauntless Athletic League, after a successful regular season and a disappointing post-season, the Chargers are looking to fix the errors that got them bounced from the play-offs.

The dark elves couldn't contend with the swarming, aggressive defense of the Chargers this day. The game started with the Chargers receiving the kick. A relatively easy march up the field by the dwarves puts them up 1-0 with still most of the half to play. The Avengers couldn't seem to do anything right when this game started. Much of the opening drive, they merely stood about looking confused.

Once the Avengers got the ball back after the Charger's touchdown, it seemed to wake them up a bit. Yet not enough, as the Chargers blitzed and caught the dark elves off-guard. The Avengers managed to secure the ball and move it down field , before the dwarves could capitalize on the blitz. Although the strong Charger defense held the Avengers scoreless as the first half ended, dropping a touchdown pass in the end zone as time ran out.

The second half had the Avengers receiving the kick. The Chargers must have seen a weakness in the Avengers offense and blitzed successfully for a second time. With the ball landing in the hands of Brood, the Chargers minotaur. The Avengers manage to steal the ball from Brood and start forming an offensive front, looking to steal more than just the ball.

After the dust settles, the Chargers escape the scrum with the ball and a few dark elves are laying unconscious on the sideline. Leading to the Chargers go ahead score as the game ends.

Well played Krytie, you got Nuffled the worst that I've ever seen, in the first few turns. Yet, even with the dice totally screwing you for a good portion of the match, it was still a relatively close match. A roll or two goes the other way and you could have easily gotten the win (such as the dropped TD pass and the dodge out of the scrum to free your ball carrier out).”
