“TRIAL OF BLOOD - GAME 1

The Sergio Tacchini Terror Squad excitedly positioned themselves on the field to face off against the Flingers of Filth, evil and terror intentions showing visibly across their ugly little green goblin faces. Unbeknownst to them the Halflings had cooked up a delicious meal for the referee, in which he awarded the Halflings free rein on fouling for the first half. The Flingers of Filth took this opportunity and quickly sent off some goblins smashing the knee of Zeds Dreadshadow.

Sergio Tacchini Terror Squad were scattered, they tried to re-group but for the first half the Flingers of Filth dominated the game and all the goblins could do was clumsily try and block when they could. Troll Bkoz Madbasher did himself in while trying to blitz a lone Halfling badly hurting himself in the process, and so ashamed of such a pathetic block he couldn’t regenerate to save himself.

The Halflings ran down the clock and scored just before the end of the first half. With only one of five KO’s returning to the field there wasn’t much the Terror Squad could do in little time. So they did what they were doing all half, unsuccessfully blocking Halflings and pushing them around the field.

The second half started with a stroke of brilliance from the Sergio Tacchini Terror Squad. It will go down as one of the best throw team mate movements Blood Bowl has seen. Troll Bug Greatcurse picked up Sumt Stonedoom and threw him towards the end zone, all this done within three tackle zones. The little goblin landed on his feet and raced in for the touchdown.

The Flingers of Filth were so surprised they started out a little scattered, even trying to attempt a throw team mate play themselves but unfortunately the Halfling didn’t land quite so accurately. But with a second attempt while the goblins were all falling back to get to the ball, the Halfling fell on his head, got back up and scored a touchdown.

With the clock still running the Sergio Tacchini Terror Squad put in a last ditch attempt to draw the game but failed to do so. It was then time for some brilliance from the Flingers of Filth to scoop the ball up, dodge, throw and run in another touchdown ending the game.”
