“This game really captured the essence of Blood Bowl. Me and Muyske had fun together and it was a very amicable game from start to finish!
In the beginning of the game neither team enjoyed any luck with the dice. However, my team managed to find an opening in the Antwerp defense and quickly used that to gain the 1-0 advantage through a long pass up center field.
At the next kick-off the Antwerp fans invaded the pitch and kicked the living daylights out of three of my players, including my Ogre. Things looked dark, to say the least! But with a little luck and some cunning utilization of the Human team's versatility, I managed to steal the ball from the opponents and quickly run for cover with my thrower, deep in my own territory, while my catchers sprinted upfield. This move caused confusion in the Antwerp team, and I could once again let the ball fly to one of my catchers for the second TD.
By now the Antwerp team began the real slaughter of my team. I had no confidence when I placed my players on the field after the second TD, with 3 turns remaining. Fortunally, enough of them were left standing to stop the rampaging Chaos Warriors from scoring a TD.
My team left the stadium on stretchers and in body bags, but with a victorious smile!”
