“The opening game of the season and what a way to kick it off, with the Grand Farce of matches.

A long match was expected and was delivered; both coaches stamina was put to test as the game clock ticked over 2 and a half hours. Faulcon came out with more babble than I've seen him sprout in a year worths of #swl in a vain attempt to throw me off the game. Like a storm torrent, text rained down into the text window. Through this downpour Nat weaved her way down the field, tempting the lizard's wizard to intervene, scoring late in the 1st half. The Skinks weren't even close to equalizing.......

In the second half the gods of the Grand Farce took over. I couldn't hurt anyone...and sure enough despite squeezing the skink ball carrier towards the sideline, the Regulars were unrewarded as the little lizard was forced to make a risky play and succeeded.

Despite setting up a chance to score, again the Grand Farce's manipulation of events robbed the BBQers of their rightful victory.
