“PBI Penguin Conference - Game 2:

A very disappointing game for the Central Adepts. With the undead fielding the Count, the decision was made to hire Ramtut...but a game where we dominated ended up a draw due to the count. The undead received in the first half and the count dodged through some tacklezones (past tackle and with no RR) to slip our net and score. We had time to respond, but failed blocks did us in and we stumbled - down 1-0 to start the second half. Going for the win, we two-turned a TD...so 6 turns remained. But this time, 3 ghouls and a mummy were in the SI box and we had vast advantage in numbers. However, we simply could not get it down. The last ghoul refused to fall and we snaked on gfi to get to the count - then finally when we did get to the count and knock him down, the last ghoul avoided DT through a tacklezone, did a -2d block and picked up the ball...on T16, we rolled doubleskulls and the game ended in a draw. A disappointment for sure - however, both RIPs against us (a skeleton and blitz-ra) were regenerated...so even with poor cash again, we are still in good position to make the playoffs.”
