“One of the most fun matches I have had in a long time, six battered and bruised elves slowly took the field against a horde of Sauri and a lumbering Kroxigor. The devious lizards had stolen some of the elves "Thin-quick potion", and had spiked the elves' Ogreade. Three of the six were, at times, "delayed" and could not play at times.
The lizards seemed also to have coated their hands with glue, because after a first turn pick-up, the elves lept forward and knocked the ball lose. However, the Saurus simply walked over and picked the ball up. After many turns of elves tripping over themselves (the side-effects of the potion perhaps?) the Saurus lumbered into the end zone, 1-0.
Honestly, I don't remember enough of what happened after that to write it in story form, so on to the conclusion!
After a failed one-turn attempt left a Saurus bleeding on the ground, while the apothecary stood in the dug-out, smoking a pipe, the game came to an end--two-one win for the Lizardmen. I really had a lot of fun this game, even if my luck could have been a little bit better :-D
I look forward to the rematch--and remember that PM!”
