“Zendzabar is pleased.

The Chargers kicked off to start the game, with both teams fired up and ready for action. A very epic struggle ensues, with the Chargers playing press defense and the Miners forcing the drive down the sideline. After the melee clears and the dust settles, Mercury stumbles into the end zone. Merz Stinkfinger of the Chargers and Red of the Miners are both carried off the field by the para-clerics. Blard Mulebreath was seen leaving the area of Red's limp body with pieces of dwaren beard stuck to his hobnailed boots.

On the ensuing kick-off, the Chargers set up a beautiful sweep play to tie the game up before the half. Bleckamar Malice caps the score off with some strong running. The play was so impressive, that the crowd rushed the field right before the half.

The second half begins with the Chargers getting the ball. This time a misdirection play has Bleckamar Malice wide open with the ball on the far sideline. Blard Mulebreath was seen again leaving the scene of the Dwarf Longbeard Coal's battered form, this time laughing maniacally. Great defensive play from the Miners manages to halt Bleckamar from a quick touchdown, but eventually the Chargers manage to punch it in to take the 2-1 lead.

The Chargers left plenty of time for the Miners to steal the tie though. The Miners set up a great sweep play and the Dwarf Blitzer Gold, slips on a bloody patch of pitch right before he crosses into the end zone. Giving Zendmakar Malice all the opportunity he needs to slam the door shut, sealing the victory for the Chargers. Yet, not before Zerkon Bloodletter sends the Troll-slayer Citrine to the mead hall in the sky, shoving a spiked fist into his brain. The recently reinstated Gord Greenfeet, suffers a permanent injury and retires yet again... making way for his son Gordo to join the team. Another acquisition is the Hobgoblin Burg Bluenose.

Notes: Very bloody game, with both of us having exceptional luck in the first half. I just happened to get the luck to swing my way in the second half. Both teams will take some time to recover from this bash-fest though. Two perms each and I also took an aging on my bull centaur on his second skill.
