“SWL Season XXVI - Premier League - Round 3

Well, this was always going to be a tough match - we had a few players MNG, and with all that tackle and mighty blob, it seemed pretty unlikely we'd have enough players to last the match. The CDs didn't have too much trouble scoring in the first half (try as we might, we just couldn't stop them).

Half time score: 0-1

Unfortunately, things went downhill by a long way in the second half. Poor coaching left a gap for an easy blitz on the ball carrier. Although we managed to recover it, it was too late - numbers were down, and despite a valiant effort, we were unable to make the distance needed to tie the game.
