“Ertabul's team is well named, because playing him was certainly a Painful Exercise.
In the first half he suffered two unfortunate injuries that left him with only nine players. That should have been enough to give me an advantage, but then Nuffle came in and suited up for him as #10.
Unfortunately, his luck reign was inaugurated by an idiotic mistake on my part, where I forgot to check that I had a support for a block. Even though I would only fall 1/6 times, it was still stupid of me, and of course I fall. He then scoops up the ball easily (his players placed thanks to the first of THREE perfect defenses) and scores.
The second half was little more than a litany of dodges into tackle zones, even blocks on ball carriers, lucky scatters, an interception at TN 8 (same as 6 I know, but 2 points more frustrating), and quick scores. With 4 AGI and a lot of move, Wood Elves can pull a lot of stunts. In this game, Ertabul made the most of his incredible luck to manage a lot of scores with few players, and in that he played his game very well.”
