“A second brutal game on the trot for coach Smyth as his Rotters took an absolute beating from T.N.T. Despite this being one of the rare occasions when a team coached by Smyth outblocked their opponent, Vindaloo Curl could not put a dent in the filthy deadites, whilst proceeding themselves to get smashed all over the shop.

The only score of the match came early in the first half when the Curl defence was able to swarm the backfield and cause a turnover before running in for the score. They held out for the remainder of the first but were slowly loosing men to the relentless undead assault.

Receiving the kick in the second the Curl held the LOS early on before making a break for it when Big Papa Curly grabbed hold of three T.N.T players on the right flank in an effort to even up the numbers. The rest of the team steamed up the left and managed to get in position for a score, only to fail a handoff at the crucial moment. With the agile werewolf Mutilator closing in to recover the ball and Assassin downfield unmarked, the remaning Rotters desperately tried to hold off the undead advance, but to no avail as the ball bounced loose with a wall of T.N.T. players in between them and the ball.

A last desperate attempt to put a TZ on Mutilator seemed a futile gesture, but Nuffle finally smiled on the Curl as the werewolf stacked it with glory in his sights and seconds left on the board. The Rotters fans went wild and despite the loss of their two best players went home smiling.
