“Fresh off the back of their 4-0 kicking they dealt to Ankh-Morpork Utd, the K1 boys were spoiling for a fight.
Remy had decided to let his team members do any scoring today as he was far too eager to pound some heads into the pitch!
Jacob's boy's had the rough 'n' ready style and offered the challenge, so the match was on.
K1 received and throughout the first half were smashed back time and again, by the tougher Chaos squad. Towards the end of the first half their was even panic amongst the elves as a few of the beastmen had ripped through the K1 line-up and were charging with the ball towards the end zone.
A bit of determination mixed with a tinge of luck saw the beastman stopped dead in his tracks, with only a few yards to go.
Half time came and the K1 boys knew they had a tough challenge ahead of them. Ignashov had already been saved by the Apothecary, so they knew this drive could be fatal for anyone of them.
By turn 5 the Beastmen (with the very dangerous Questor brothers) had managed to push a few yards into K1 territory.
With a vicious onslaught the K1 boys threw everything they had at the Chaos mob, driving them closer to the sidelines.
Then, a lucky break. Avarice fell to the ground, the ball flying free from his freakishly large hands. It bounced into the crowd who immediately threw it back to the Chaos half.
Unfortunately (for Chaos Divided) Cyril Abidi was standing there waiting for it. Off he raced towards the end zone, out of reach of the now overstretched Chaos team.
The fustration for the Chaos team was too much. A few well placed boots earned one of the beastmen a match ban from the ref as he repeatedly tried to cripple Ignashov, now recognised as a strong defensive player.
Thanks for the game Jacob, it was a good but tough match throughout.”
