“I played this game tired -- rarely a good choice, and a flood of bad luck didn't help. Probably should've just gone to sleep. :)
The first turn saw one of my guys knocked out, another badly hurt, and Pestilence with a niggling injury. The apothecary saved Pestilence, only to see him doing the same thing again. Nothing else went right after that -- we repeatedly failed passes, were usually down players against our opponent, and War was seriously injured going for it on a blitz.
After the game, we decided we had to trim some fat and get back to playing lower-level teams. Injured players Pestilence, Stuart, and Dylan in the Movies were all fired, dropping our team rating by a full twenty points. Given War's injury, this leaves our roster a bit sparse, so we may need to take a couple games against less violent teams in order to restock ourselves a bit. (In retrospect, this didn't happen -- the team went right back out there against some orcs the next game, then faced Khemri...)
The opposing coach was very nice, and while I can't say I had fun, that was entirely due to my bad luck and exhaustion at the time. Thanks for the game!”
