“Proof that Nuffle is a biased prat. Again this season he has cursed the merry men with continual poor luck against highly skilled opponent, to whom he grantis exceptional assistance. Irgy took advantage and played a tight and strategic game against a foul mouthed and ill-tempered opponent who largely lost interest. All hail Nuffle!
3pts #10 S'bbothg for two TD
2pts #2 Ndarn-haudhak for a couple of nice hits
1pt #12 Ddeishuarna for a couple of nice passes, and running into Alocer's fist.”
“I had the right idea, made a few mistakes but Nuffle decided not to punish me for any of them.
For instance in the first half, rather than scoring for 2-1 on turn 7, I decided to risk waiting for a turn to give Elan less k.o. rolls, forgetting that he had smelling salts anyway (not that they worked that well for him anyway). I then ended up needing 2 3+s and a 2d frenzy block to work to score at all, but it worked out.
The second half, thanks to some good k.o. rolls and a double crowd push early on I managed to put him down to 5 players (I only had 6 left myself mind you), and with a few good dodge rolls I managed to stall it out.
It seems clear that Sotek is back in favour with Nuffle, so I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.
Thanks to Elan for being good fun despite getting fairly frustrated.
Twanhlows:
3 Alocer - The mummies did their job this game, despite one getting knocked out for a while (can't remember which).
2 Andras - One less cas than Alocer but still a good effort.
1 Balam - A good effort on the td in the first half, running away solo and managing to keep out of trouble.”
