“This was one of the best games I've played on FUMBBL -- a lot of twists and turns, high scoring, a good match of styles... and everyone did what they do best, which is always fun. War dealt two casualties, and Mummies chipped in with one. Bill Murray did double duty, completing no less than three passes on offense and anchoring the line on defense, where his strength and tackling ability were invaluable. A much-deserved MVP went to Christopher Lloyd, who scored all three TDs for the team.
14 SPPs for Lloyd! He came very close to getting two skills in one game, but had to settle for dodge. Mummies got tackle; after seeing what it's done for War, it was difficult to resist the urge to go with Piling On. But of course War's Piling On is partially to keep him and his 6 AV from getting hit back... and we need the tackle. Not having played a lot of elf teams, we had forgotten the pain of having to choose between bringing down a dodger with a tackler or using a guy with frenzy for the automatic reroll on pushback. Now Mummies does both. (And... he's still our secondary receiver? He's almost as much of a two-way player as Bill.)
Anyway, War and Mummies logged 27 blocks combined. The rest of the team? 22.
As planned, we hired a minotaur with the winnings from the game. We've got 50k left over... we could buy a lineman, bringing us to 14 players, but we have some stuff we need. Maybe a catcher? Definitely a reroll or two -- 2 is no longer cutting it. Well, we'll see what we need after next game... for all I know, we'll take casualties, and need the linos to bolster the roster. (I sure hope not.)

Thanks so much for the game, squintyeyed17!”
