“4th time lucky! These teams have been building up a bit of a rivalry and Pat is still leading 3-1, but finally the Raiders pulled a rabbit out of the hat in turn 16 to win this game. The Rats were brutal in attack, with Mr Claw at his best, but it was oh so hard to prevent these slippery elvsies from scoring.

We started off badly, taking the first drive but having no luck getting the rats off the field. Shocks was quickly MnG, and we had a few KO making things worse. A bad cage allowed Jezza to deck the ball carrier, but Hotfoot caught the ball on the rebound. 1-0.
Jezzas drive was near impossible to stop. He causes a BH and our respond foul caused a RIP which was apothed...not what we wanted. We couldn't stop Jezza scoring, 1-1 half time.
Second half and we put a bit more pressure on Jezza this time, only to have Ferryrat respond with an Apothed RIP and another MnG. Tunnels took the score after we nearly had the ball 2-1.
Our drive and we had a fair amount of time, so we tried to play keepings off and work towards the line. We managed to get Brittany close to score, and that's when Jezza won the game. He managed, through dodges, GFIs, etc, to get a 1 die on Brittany, not for the knockdown, but the forced score. All of a sudden, Jezza had a 1 turn TD opportunity.
Our kick landed in a very difficult spot and Jezza had to work hard to push Tunnels close enough. The throw hit home, Tunnels was away.....and two GFIs later, he scored. 3-2 the final result.
Well played Jezza, you stole the game brilliantly. I'll be watching for that trick next time :P
