A very, very fun game despite getting whupped 3-0. The hummies were playing like dorfs, and got a scoreline to prove it. Hopefully, this doesn't end the Scramblers team b/c they are pretty solid and have some serious skills (a 9MA linerat...).

As always, playing against the Red side of Merseryside is fun, though not as fun as slaughtering the Blue. YNWA.

#8 Xthzik – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#8 Xthzik – Smashed Knee (NI)
A painful game for the Slash'it boys, despite picking up the win. Things started badly with an early serious injury to the extra-strong Xthzik, which was made even worse when the apothecary failed to bandage up his shattered limbs properly. Xthzik proteseted after the game that he could return to action and play through the niggle, but coach Smyth looked at his star linerat's battered body and decided he couldn't take the risk of him not showing up to crucial games, and the rat's career was over.

Next to go down was the rookie Gutter Runner Vainquol, but the fans appreciated his contribution to the cause with the post match MVP. He will be harder to put down in future with blocking skills to go anlong with his dodging ability. The Scramblers thought they suffered the worse of the Humies wrath, but after scoring a last turn break away TD, Edain had one final kick-off to receive. The angry man-things took out all their frustrations on the LOS and pounded two more rats into the floor with their final actions of the game. It was a tough pill for coach Smyth to swallow, leaving him short of a full starting team for the next match. Rumour has it he may be looking for a little Elf-ball, but Smyth denied this saying that he never looks for the soft option. Unconfirmed reports suggest he might have been sniggering as he said this.

Fun match Michael, nice chatting to you as well mate. Good luck with your team, let me know if your trip to the UK comes through and I can take you for a tour round the home of the mighty Reds! :)
