“PBI - Underworld Conference V - Round 5 - Final round.

I went into this game just 2 points ahead of Robbo44 and his San Andreas Alpha chaos team, with him looking the likely candidate to win his final match. I needed nothing less than a win, and I knew that the fast moving skinks were a serious threat.

With 5 handicaps, but just 9 starting players, the lizardman team were going to need a serious heap of luck and the coach to be on top of his game.

In fact they scored first, using a rerolled -2d blitz to do it. I then nearly paid the price for taking my foot off the gas and going easy on Unstoffe's side when some nifty defence meant I needed a gfi in blizzard conditions... lucky for me I was successful, and made it 1-1 into the 2nd half with me receiving.

The 2nd half was more of a formality and I had the luxury of being able to score with an unskilled dwarf.

The win means I top the group and go in to the play offs, where I will undoubtedly fail!
