“We manage to bring home our first SMACK win ever, defeating a typically fearsome undead team and pulling in a much-needed two fan factor. Victory comes at a cost, though: War takes on a niggling injury after a failed apothecary roll.
The saga of our warlike throwers continues, as Will Arnett rolls doubles. We have to take guard, right? We probably should have rolled for Arnett before choosing strip ball for Murray; the plan was to make Arnett into the full-scale thrower, and send Murray to the line. But now Arnett is or the line, and Murray... well, Murray's definitely a backfield guy on defense, but his role on offense is a question mark. The good kind of question mark. (We're just glad he didn't age.)
One more milestone: today's game marks the debut of our third minotaur, Les Nessman. He caused a casualty in his debut, though it was regenerated. A promising beginning -- he's already better than our second minotaur, and he's tied the CAS total of our first.”
