“Season 25 – Game 5

The Terror Squad started off with confidence that Nobbla would shred some of those dangerous mummies from the field. It started well with the Terror Squad receiving and Nobbla firing up the chainsaw with excited glee.

Unfortnately Nobbla did not prove his worth except for surviving a couple of big hits from mummies and in the end was killed in action.

With what started out looking like a good drive down the left of the field ended when Greece the Khemri Thro-Ra intercepting the pass. From there on it was over as recovering the ball goes. Instead the Terror Squad did the next best thing and that was to senselessly foul as much as possible.

In the second half the Terror Squad had an opportunity to pull off a draw, but unfortunately the dirty little fingers of the goblins couldn’t pick up the ball. Even the Khemri players had trouble picking up the ball, giving the Terror Squad a number of chances that Nuffle thwarted with glee.

Overall the Sergio Tacchini Terror Squad came away from the loss fairly unscathed with only the new recruit Starun Bigfart picking up a niggling injury and Neb Foulslay missing the next game.

Also to rub salt into the wounds, fans of the Terror Squad couldn’t handle the hopelessness of the team and decided not to renew their membership.
