This game was a simple game where both teams succeeded in all their offenses.

MiR started their offence effectively and were able to carry the ball to the endzone with their blitzing Storm Vermin after the Pips failed in some critical go for its and blocks. The Pips retaliated quickly with a well executed play where their blitzer was able to grab the ball and run for the eventual tying touchdown. The Mir team were not left with enough time to score on their following drive.

The Pips' second halves first drive was almost stopped very quickly after they fumbled with the ball and four Skaven players accompanied by their Rat Ogre got near the ball. Prettyfinger Noblechin however prevailed and was able to grab the ball and throw it to an open catcher who ran the ball to the endzone.

Orbita Mir was not done yet and they initiated an effective running play where they stacked their players on the VSOP half and protected the ball well. There was an occasiong were a huge number of skulls were thrown on both sides which moved the game forward for three turns with neither team moving an inch. The final skulls were unfortunately thrown by the Pips and the road was clear for the MiR gutter runner. After a simple blitz which removed the final obstacle, Runqwister ran for the tying touchdown.

At this point Naffle smiled on the Very Superior Old Pips. The Pips' fans stormed the field and stunned several of the Skaven players, but put no one in the dugouts which was very lucky on the MiR coaches part.

The field however was clear and the elves moved the ball along the field quickly. Luck hadn't completely abandoned the battered Skaven team as they were able to make some good dodges and eventually blitz the ball carrier with a one die block. The ball carrier was taken down and the ball scattered near him.

This however was the extent of Orbita MiRs luck. The Pips quickly reclaimed the ball and ran too far for the Skaven players to catch him. The winning touchdown was scored on the final turn of the second half.

A glorious victory for the VSOP team. Special thanks go to the Orbita MiRs Rat Ogre who pretty much stood still and roared the whole match. No one had ever seen such an ineffective Rat Ogre. Very unlucky for the Skaven team as they might have had a good chance of stopping the elves with the aid of the Rat Ogre.

Thanks to my opponent for a fun match!
