“When the last quarter consists of the two remaning Elves running away as fast as possible from a horde of Black Orcs and a Troll, you know your gameplan hasn't worked out.
On turns 1 and 2 I went with taking a chance on aiming blitzes at the ballcarrier. Both were miserable failures. After that it was a case of rolling backwards, trying to not to get stomped too hard.
After half my tem recovered from KOs at halftime, I pulled off a 2-turner - which got my Wardancer his first skill; maybe I could've stalled another turn, but didn't feel confident risking it.
The on the second KO of the second half, the Lolcatz fans Got The Ref, and "Run Away" became the order of the day quite soon after that.
My luck meter started out around 30% and gradually crept upwards... I was lucky not to get any deaths or lasting injuries, at the end of the game there were 9 elves in the KO box.
All good fun, though ;-) ”
