“Well first I have to thank PorkusMaximus for exelent match report =].
That first half probably won me the match, Porkus was really unlucky there (or was it me lucky on armor/injury rolls? =] ). His troll proved to be one of stupidest there are after standing for about 6 turns on one place looking for birdies or something. I would also congratulate Porkus on kiling my star ag5 runner. Although we tried to settle the grudge right away, murderer Hordak escaped our righteous wrath with only gouged eye. But we will not forget. We won't.
Ok, so here is some advice, I'm not that good coach but will do my best to help.
1. Blitzing. As I stated in your forum thread, use your blitz wisely, with horns on most players it should be your strongest move. ALWAYS blitz the guy with ball whenever possible. For example, if you blitzed my TS with ball back then, you could've preserved me from scoring second TD and eventualy tie or even win the match.
2. Just one general tip, when you got quick snap at one kick-off, you let one of my players on LoS go with just one block threw at him. So my advice is to try and block players on LoS from direction where you can push him to some other player for further block in case of pushback.
3. Protect the ball. Don't know how to help you improve this since I suck at it, but I can tell you, you should give more protection to your ball handler.
Well those are my observations, hope they will be any help to you =].
C ya at rematch, good luck improving your dorf-breaking.”
“A frustrating match for me, I really want to be successful at beating dwarves (to spare everyone my whining :D) however in the first half my team performed very badly. Key players got KOed left right and centre, my troll failed at least 5 or 6 really stupid rolls and my agility 4 warrior badly hurt himself after a fairly routine 2+ dodge went pete tong.
Mates played his team well and his combination of +MA, +ST and +AG on his blitzers and runners proved to be a devastating combo. He put all his players exactly where he needed them and was only slowed down when he rolled something like 5 skull/both down results attempting to block some beastmen off the ball. I knew that I had to somehow take down these key players but I was unable to do so.
The chaos team did not begin to make any progress until turn 14 by which point they were 0-2 down, defeat was inevitable. However, Hordak had finally awoken from the dug out and he unleashed merciless fury on the dwarves. The chaos drive began with the death of the dwarf dirty player Hlahi, whom Mates chose to apoth. A decision he would soon regret however, as on the next turn their star runner was slain at the hands of Hordak. Before the dwarven scribes had time to enter his name into the book of grudges, Toli Elisson delivered a devastating blitz leaving Hordak with a smashed ankle and knowing that a player like Hordak needs to remain mobile the chaos apothecary healed his wounds. His health was short lived, as Grogli the Bear smashed Hordak to the ground once more and gouged one of his eyes with rage. A brutal and bloody end to a game that until that point had been relatively clean and bloodless.

I'd really appreciate any input from my opponent on this game. Any mistakes made, where he thinks I could have made different choices or just general tips would be most welcome. ”
