“A fairly straight forward match, complicated by some degree by the large number of tacklers he had. In the first half he got the ref and fouled me a bunch of times, but fortunately I emerged with only a badly hurt. A chance block on my part managed to kill a +1 move blodge ghoul.

At this point the game lost a little of its collegiality, as nis1000 concentrated primarily on continuous gang fouls of whichever of my best players he could knock down. This is, of course, understandable after a KIA, but it shifted my defense strategy from close opposition to a more dodgy approach. Normally dodging is of course the way to go, but he had a large number of tacklers and I do not yet have many re-rolls.

In the end, elf agility carries the day. The SPP haul is modest, and some faceless unskilled lineman got the MVP, but at least I didn't suffer any permanent injuries, and I am set to go on to the next game.
