The game started well, this was only the second time I'd had a gate of over 80,000 fans and I was looking forward to a impressive winnings roll (ha ha ha). Hordak opens up the game by KO'ing Ugg the troll, OK it would have been cooler to kill him but he's off the field and that's good enough for me. From this point on it starts to go a bit pete tong. My positioning was totally rubbish and I panicked about my ball carrier being exposed so like a newb I charged him out and attempted to make a run for it. I decided it was a risk worth taking since my opponent would need to dodge + GFI (x2?) + blitz on 1 dice. I thought the odds were in my favour. I was wrong. That basically sums up my side of the game. I was almost completely unable to inflict any casualties even with the claw/rsc combination, I even failed to break the armour of an av6 goblin... twice. My team was just getting cleared off the pitch too fast for me to do anything, I suppose it is poetic justice after some of the carnage I'd inflicted from past games. Could have done without having the -AV on Xandar though, it'll take ages to buy and skill up a replacement.

I can't fault my opponent in this game. He played by the book, he didn't try anything flash or silly and only took affordable risks when absolutely necessary. I don't want to sound too bitter or whiny, this game is just a case of 1 step forward and about 5 steps back.
