During Fragrant's first drive, Roast Dinner was able to move the ball one tile short of a touchdown. Ma'arkevzbab dodged and stretched twice to put a tackle zone on Roast Dinner. Bab remained on his feet through a two-dice block and was able to knock Roast Dinner unconscience an retrieve the ball in what was my favorite play of the game.

Bab wasn't able to maintain the ball, but the ensuing melee saw Bim kill Five Spice on turn six. Tsapam finally recovered the ball and attempted to throw it to Xan, but the pass was incomplete, leaving the first half scoreless.

In the first half, I didn't realize that the dwarf Runners did not have Block. My Runners threw four one-die blocks that maybe they shouldn't've.

The second half started with only seven rotters and nine dwarves. A rock from the crowd removed Trend Wine Bar. Kalatkuilar was able to recover the kick-off and quickly drive down the side, scoring on turn four: 0-1.

At the end of the drive, Fragrant had four players left on the pitch.

The next kick-off had six players to eight. This was really the tempo of the second half. Fragrant had fewer players and fewer re-rolls, giving them little help to mitigate their bad luck.

Baked Bread was unable to recover the kick-off, and was quickly knocked out by Cmacain. Xan recovered the ball to score on turn seven: 0-2.”
