“This game is another example of just how absurdly meaningless the luck meter is. The first half was, perhaps, one of the five worst I think I've ever seen from anyone anywhere. There's really no point to making a detailed match report like I usaully would since it would suffice to say that I failed in everything I tried, with one exception.

Oddly enough, my block dice were fairly effective. I my knockdowns were probably above expectations, and my injury rolls were also very good. Other than that small exception (and it was a small one, as I wasn't in a position to throw many blocks anyway), Nuffle totally stuck it to me. This was one of those frustrating games where nothing worked for me, and everything Gunslinger tried went his way.

Particularly illustrative was my failed and re-rolled failed attempt to pick up the ball in no tackle zones. He then manages to pick it up in a tackle zone, dodge four times, hand off, and score. That pretty much sums up the entire game.

At least, though, I suffer no permanent injuries and earn enough money to replace the thrall I lost two games ago.”
