My opponent tried to drive with the ball, but Nuffle smiled and handed the ball over to me instead. I then made a ridiculously lucky play and managed to gain the lead with a touchdown.

My opponent was to receive again. I put pressure on the receivers in scoring range, but then Nuffle smiled again and allowed one of my players to intercept the ball. I tried to make a short pass for the T8 touchdown, but Nuffle would have none of it.

The second half was much like the first, except in my opponents favour. I received, but some unlucky blocking (double-skulls on two blocks) allowed the enemy to storm my backfield and score.

The second kick-off of the half was also troublesome for me, and with a player advantage my opponent was able to mob me and again obtain the ball. However, the scoring rush required two GFIs in snowy conditions, with no rerolls available. The opposing ball-carrier tripped up in the endzone, leaving the game tied with a final score of 1-1.”
