“Rarely has any loss ever been more frustrating. I failed practically every single critical roll in the second half.
The first half is a messy fight, but eventually I manage to grind his drive to a halt. In the second half I get the kick, and I feel confident that I can pull a 1-0 win. However, things start going wrong pretty quick.
I made one questionable call, which in retrospect appears to have been a mistake, but I'm not certain that wasn't just due to dice. The questionable call was leaving my thrower within blitz range. But I had blodge, he didn't have tackle, and I had sidestep, so I could go somewhere safe. Well, he does blitz me and get me down, but the ball remains pretty safe.
A few turns of skirmishing, and I have a great change to get free, if only I can pick it up with my 4 AGI sure hands thrower. Of course he fails. On his next turn, Slex manages to get it with his 2 AGI bull centaur, and after surviving a blitz from me, scores.
With two turns remaining my prospects are poor, but I have options. That is until on my turn 7 I fail a 3+ throw with pass, then on turn 8, I fail a GFIT re-roll GFIT to blitz my player free.
Slex was a fun opponent and I hope to face him again. But games like this is why I hate FUMBBL.

Looking at zero casualties from my side, and 4 casualties made by opponent, I am more and more convinced that I rarely should take challenges from this race. Surprisingly no hobgoblins got killed during this match. I do remember however that I used an apoth on a badly hurt bull centaur.
